Andrea Rosati

Andrea Rosati is a renowned figure in the world of animal science, combining academic achievements with extensive international management experience. After studying Animal Production Sciences at the University of Perugia, he earned a Master's (MSc) and a PhD in Genetics in the United States.

He has spent years holding national and international roles in the management of performance recording, animal genetic evaluations, and global regulatory standards. As a professor, he has taught at the Universities of Bologna and Camerino. He has coordinated two EU-funded research projects and participated in at least 20 other projects.

He has co-founded four scientific journals, authored numerous articles, co-authored two books related to animal husbandry, and organized conferences, webinars, and workshops worldwide. He recently wrote a book about AI applied to livestock farming. He has directed the European Federation of Animal Husbandry (EAAP) and the World Association for Animal Production (WAAP) for over 20 years. Widely respected, he frequently advises on agriculture, livestock innovation, global food security, and artificial intelligence.
