An animal scientist and assistant professor at the MATE Institute of Physiology and Animal Nutrition, working at the interface of livestock production, precision farming and data science.
Her research focuses on the use of automated feeding systems and behavioural data to better understand individual animal performance and support precision-management strategies in animal production. She has developed analytical workflows for cleaning, processing and modelling large-scale feeding datasets and is currently investigating dominance dynamics, growth trajectories and feed-efficiency prediction using behavioural indicators recorded by electronic feeding stations.
Her broader research interests include precision feeding, sustainability assessment, nutrient-use efficiency, and the application of decision-support systems in modern livestock production.
