Fernando Bargo, PhD

Fernando Bargo earned his PhD in Animal Science from The Pennsylvania State University (2002), his M.S. in Animal Science from Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, and his Agr. Eng. (Honors) degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
Since 2018 he has served as Business & Innovation Manager at BioZyme Inc. (St Joseph, MO, USA), and he is also a professor at the Graduate School of Agriculture of the University of Buenos Aires.
Previously he worked as Innovation Deployment Manager at Lucta S.A. and held various cattle technical consulting and product management roles at Elanco Animal Health LATAM. As a private consultant, he served global animal nutrition companies (Lucta, Elanco, Novus, DeLaval, Cargill/Provimi) and Latin-American feed companies.
He is a member of the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA), serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Dairy Science, and is the author of 34 scientific publications.
