Frederika Somers

Frederika Somers obtained a degree in Veterinary Medicines – specialization Industrial animal production- at the University of Ghent in Belgium and has developed more then 20 years of experience in the feed additive industry, specializing in nutrition for monogastric animals.

Her career spans multiple functions within sales, product management, marketing and business management across wide range of poultry and swine veterinary & nutritional solutions showcasing her versatility and leadership.

Starting from a sales representative role in the Veterinary pharmaceutical industry, she quickly developed into a Business Manager role Livestock for Fort Dodge, entering the animal nutrition industry in 2005 as a Marketing Manager poultry & swine EMEA for consecutively the companies Alpharma and Novus Inc working in the field of in feed antibiotics, various gut health solutions, including essential oils, immune modulators and essential oils, next to minerals, carotenoids and enzymes.

In 2020 she started as Business Manager Nutrition EMENA for KEMIN EUROPE n.v. heading the strategic developments and product management of Biosurfactants, Enzymes, Antioxidants, Flavors and Trace Minerals into the monogastric industry.

Since 2026 she holds the position of Marketing Manager EUCIS within Adisseo with an additional dedication as Regional Category Manager Animal Resilience.
