Hamlet Protein's enzyme-treated soybean meal boosts productivity in broilers, during the starter phase and beyond.
During the first days of life gut functions are in development, and broilers require highly available proteins for proper growth. Enzyme-treated soybean meal (Hamlet Protein – Horsens, Denmark) was evaluated in broiler starter diets at a 5% inclusion during the first 10 days of life: Besides better performance at day 10 and 42, improvements in markers for protein digestion, and gut health were found. ESBM in starter feeds can improve intestinal development and long-term performance.
