Dr. Tamás Tóth
Research Professor, Dean
Dr. Tamás Tóth is a research professor and Dean of the Albert Kázmér Mosonmagyaróvár Campus at Széchenyi István University. He earned his PhD in 2005. His research and teaching activities are linked to animal husbandry, animal nutrition, modern feeding methods, and agri-food research and development.
Previously he was head of the Department of Animal Nutrition at the University of West Hungary, head of department and deputy institute director at Kaposvár University, and president and later centre director of the Agricultural and Food Research Centre at Széchenyi István University. He is currently president of the Hungarian Precision Animal Husbandry Association, a member of the Animal Science Committee of the Agricultural Sciences Section of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and a board member of the Association of Óvár Farmers.
His research focuses mainly on the nutrition of farm animals, the development of feeding technologies, the utilization of by-products, improving the quality of animal-derived food products, and the application of precision feeding and modern analytical methods.
